3 star hotel with restaurant. Restaurant with good cuisine and moderate prices. The staff was very nice, if at times overwhelmed, but to be recommended.

I'm passing through - and after standing in front of several open but closed bars, I call Hungerstein. Yes, it was opened, confirms the female voice on the phone. What do I want? My information that I would like to eat something does not help to make her tone more friendly. When you arrive on site, you are a bit more professional. The restaurant is timeless and modern. Corona protective measures only apply to a few here, nobody wears a mask. Main courses on the menu, which is held in the Uckermark region, cost between eight and 22 euros. I choose the "Kutscherschnitte" ("Uckermark style pork loin steak with apple and onion rings and juicy fried potatoes"). A well-sized portion, and just the thing for my hunger. A walk to the nearby Mündesee is worthwhile for digestion.

Super kitchen. The meat is grilled to the point. Perfectly seasoned, the side dishes fresh. Whenever I'm around, they eat there.

The restaurant is in a very idyllic location on a small street. The service was always available quickly but not intrusive. The food was brought to us quickly in the evening and was also really tasty. The price was also very reasonable.

Partly, partly. Starter (French schnitzel) was good, tasty. If it had continued like this with the main course (Kommandantedeputat), everything would have been great. Unfortunately the salmon trout was cooked to death, completely through and dry. The crust wasn't crispy but leathery. The mustard sauce, on the other hand, was excellent in taste.

We were registered with 8 people on vacation. Great: The service was very good, drinks and the menu were super fast, even during the meal. Friendly and attentive. In need of improvement: 1.5 hours passed between ordering a drink and serving food ... Of 8 differently selected dishes on the menu, 5 were well presented, 3 were incorrectly prepared in the cooking times. In the end there are 4 stars with a very good price level.

Spent spontaneously on vacation at "Zum Hungerstein" and were totally thrilled. Food is super delicious and the service was also very nice and courteous. The prices are really good and we have rarely eaten so well and so cheaply.

Can you eat well, friendly staff, reasonable prices

Nice service, long waits. The rumpsteak was despite medium order very through and really tough. TK vegetables as a side dish and burned bacon in the fried potatoes rounded off the thing. This can be done better!

Delicious food, only meat was a bit dry. Had to wait a bit for the food, but kept under control. By the way, it is not expensive.
